In HomeKit Secure Video mode, the camera records at 1080p due to platform limitations, while maintaining smooth integration with Apple devices.
Built-In Zigbee 3.0 Hub for Full Home Integration
Beyond being a smart camera, the G3 functions as a powerful Zigbee 3.0 hub, capable of connecting up to 128 Aqara devices. This creates a seamless smart home ecosystem with sensors, automation, and security all connected in one platform. Compatible with HomeKit, Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT, the G3 brings wide-ranging smart home support. While infrared (IR) control isn’t currently supported in HomeKit, users can leverage IR functions through the Aqara Home app, Google Home, or Siri Shortcuts for extended control.
